OlympusERP is an Israeli ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system for organizational management. It includes production, import, marketing, distribution, retail, inventory, CRM, import, finances, EDI, human resources/personnel, budget, and EIS management tool.

IBM WebSphere Environment
Among others, OlympusERP software operates in the technological environment of IBM WebSphere, which is a basis for organizational portal and operation of the entire software on the internet.

Office Connectivity
OlympusERP software provides complete connectivity to Microsoft Office products, for pictures and documents display and edit, as well as reports’ exporting to Excel.

C# .Net Development
Some of the moduls in the ERP system are written in C# Microsoft.Net technology, such as the graphic documents generator, the dashboard executive system, and so on.

Software Language on the Server
The software is written in RPG/ILE Native language – the natural language for iSeries. The software is based on advanced software engineering laws such as CUA, SAA and others. All the main software is installed on the server only and works completely on-line.

The Graphic Interface of the Work Terminal
The work terminals that are connected to the server can be either “green terminals”, or a net of color PCs with the new GUI WebSphere graphic interface, including links to Microsoft softwares like: Office, Excel, Fax, etc. Screen presentation is through Java technologies.

Internet
The entire ERP system can be operated through a browser over the Internet with IBM’s range of tools in WebSphere technology. This kind of operation through Browser facilitates E-Business performance by using all the ERP software functions. The iSeries system has Web to Host integration ability.

EIS + OLAP
ERP software includes interface to a unique OLAP + EIS system, building “cubes” in the iSeries DB2, and allows their prestentation in a graphic spectacular EIS software. The EIS system is updated on-line and shows an up to date status to all the organization management levels.

Mobile Devices
A special PreSale software module allows the program to be operated online on PDA computers, terminals and “smart” cellular telephones, assuring maximal availability using the Internet technology.

Barcode Support
Integration between software and hardware that allows reading barcode stickers, sticker production, inventory counts, inventory control and deliveries through the barcode scanner. In addition, barcoded documents can be designed for any chosen entity.

EDI interface
Software integration in the electronic ommerce ring, sending and receiving messages in EDI and giving a solution to “supply chain management” between suppliers and customers.

Data-Base
OlympusERP software is based on IBM’s common DB2 data-base, which is famous for its great stability, its ability to manage and maintain extremely large files, and its information retrieval with common softwares. E-Business DB2 UDB data-base is also suitable for business logic/intelligence and operates on a wide variety of platforms.
Part of the modules are based on the SQL Server database over the web.

Client/Server
The system operates on IBM’s main server iSeries Power-PC eServer.
This server contains many different models, from the smallest one suitable for a small organization of dozens of users, up to a “giant” computer for support of huge organization with hundreds or thousands of end-users. The computer has excellent stability, communication, connectivity and security.
